Symptoms


Receive an error when the bidder submitting the Bid

NOTE: The following User Details / Company Names / Addresses / Emails / Telephone Numbers / Etc. are fictitious (based upon made-up data used in the Oracle DEMO Environments), any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner. 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

    1. Navigate : Sourcing > Sourcing Administration > Business Unit Creation
        Check Allow Send NOIA Notification
        Enter NOIA Report Template & Standard Email Template
    2. Navigate : Souring > Create Events > Create Event Details
        Create an event
        Add an item
        Select Public Event
        Save
        Post the Event
    3. Login as Bidder (JHAYES) in Supplier Portal
        Select the Event from Bidding Opportunities tile, Click Bid on Event
        Enter the bid quantity / price
        Submit the Bid
    4. Login EMPLOYEE Portal
        Navigate : Souring > Create Events > Create Event Details
        Create new Event by copying the existing one (0000000197)
        Check at the bidder invitations page (The responded bidder of original event is copied )
        Save and Post
        Delete the responded bidder
        Click ok
        Click Save Event
        Click No for “Do you want to recreate the Event Files? (18058,1003) “
        Click No
    5. Login Supplier
        Select the new event
        Enter Bid Qty/Price
        Click Submit Bid
        Issue : Receive an Error
