EPY: Cannot Associate Combination Code to Expense Mapping for Non Commitment Accounting (Doc ID 2856268.1)

Cannot associate combination codes on the Expense Mapping page.

The user created a new HR Business Unit which was associated with the correct GL Business Unit.   The valid combination codes are created on the HCM side.   We are attempting to associate the correct Account Code (Combination Code) with the earnings/deductions/taxes on the expense mapping page but it is generating the following error:

The ChartField Combination chosen is not valid. (2000,203)



The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Create a new HR Business Unit and mapped it to a GL Business Unit (Set Up HCM>Foundation Tables>Organization>Business Unit)
2. Create a new Expense Mapping for the new HR Business Unit (Set Up HCM>Product Related>Payroll for North America>GL Interface>ChartField Expense Mapping USA)
3. Try to associate a combination code to the GL Group Activity and it produces the error
