E-PORTAL: Content Provider Workcenters Endlessly Load When Accessed from a Portal Using Different PeopleTools Versions (Doc ID 2857320.1)

Symptoms

When accessing a content provider WorkCenter from a portal instance through unified navigation the Workcenter keeps reloading. The issue only seems to happen when the PeopleTools versions are different between the portal and the content provider. This impacts all content provider workcenters accessed from the portal

Example steps to replicate:

  1. Login to Portal
  2. Navigate to Human Resources Folder> Peopletools > Integration Broker > Integration Network WorkCenter.
  3. The Workcenter will reload over and over again.
