Requisition Header Comments are Not Copied To Purchase Order When Multiple PO's Created From Requisition Lines (Doc ID 2861244.1)

Symptoms


When creating a requisition with two lines, each line has a comment and the requisition has a header and ship to comments, copying line #1 to a PO, all comments got copied correctly, however when coping requisition line #2 to a different PO, requisition header comments are not getting copied, only line and ship to comments are copied.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Scenario #1:

  1. Navigate to the home page, press on eProcurement Tile > Create Requisition tile> and create a new requisition
  2. Add two items to the requisition , one catalog item and another special request item
  3. Add requisition header, line and ship to comments then submit the requisition.
  4. Copy requisition line 1 to a PO, notice that all the comments copied successfully.
  5. Copy requisition line 2 to another PO, notice that the requisition header comments are not getting copied, only requisition line and ship to are getting copied to the PO.

Scenario #2:

  1. Navigate to the home page, press on eProcurement Tile > Create Requisition tile and create a new requisition
  2. Add two items to the requisition , one catalog item and another special request item
  3. Add requisition header, line and ship to comments then submit the requisition.
  4. Copy requisition line 1 to a PO, notice that all the comments copied successfully.
  5. Copy requisition line 2 to another PO.
  6. Cancel first PO.
  7. Create a new PO and try to copy requisition line 1 to that new PO.
  8. All comments will be copied but not the requisition header comments
