System is Not Generating a Warning Message For Inspection Required When Receiving The Purchase Order From The Receiving PO Tile (Doc ID 2863938.1)

Symptoms


Enabling the Inspection required then when receiving a PO using the "Receiving PO" tile , system is not generating a warning message regarding the item inspection , However in classic warning message is generated correctly .


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Setup Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Procurement Options > Purchasing > Inspection Routings and Add a new Value
  2. Navigate to : Define Items > Purchasing Attributes > Purchasing Controls and check the Inspection Required Check this to implement ‘Inspection’ Inspection UOM: Select Standard
  3. Navigate to : Setup Financials/Supply Chain – Business Unit Related – Purchasing - Purchasing Definition – Business Unit Options tab and Uncheck Separate Inspection
  4. Navigate to : Items > Define Controls > Item Categories Category Definition 2 Tab and check the Inspection Required Checkbox, this to implement ‘Inspection’ then Inspect ID: Enter Inspect ID you crated from step #1 and the Inspection UOM: Select Standard.
  5. Navigate to Purchasing: > Purchase Order > Add/Update POs and create a new PO and dispatch it.
  6. From Mobile Inventory Home page press on the Receiving PO tile then search for that PO.
  7. Save the receipt.
  8. Notice that there is no warning message generated for the required inspection.
