Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to cancel a preliminary calculation, the process aborts with the message "No Stream Definitions Found"

Test a subset of employees to run in a stream:

  1. Setup HCM>Product Related>Global Payroll and Absence Management>Payee Groups>Streams: enter employee(s) to be processed in this calendar.
  2. Setup HCM>Product Related>Global Payroll and Absence Management>Framework>Calendars>Calendar Groups: choose the group to process and check the "Process by Stream" checkbox.
  3. Main Menu>Global Payroll and Absence Management>Absence and Payroll Processing>Calculate Absence and Payroll: enter Calendar Group/Stream number to identify/calculate and process.
  4. Review results (as desired) and now plan to run this calendar group for the entire population, not just the stream.
  5. Setup HCM>Product Related>Global Payroll and Absence Management>Payee Groups>Streams: delete the stream(s) which was/were created.
  6. Main Menu>Global Payroll and Absence Management>Absence and Payroll Processing>Calculate Absence and Payroll: enter Calendar Group and click the cancel check box.
  7. Process runs to "No success"; log file shows "No Stream Definitions Found".

At this point, the entire process is halted, because the cancellation won't complete.
