Manage Service Indicators Display Effect Filter Is Not Defaulting to “All” (Doc ID 2868757.1)

Symptoms

When Manage Service Indicators is accessed via the menu Effect is not defaulting to All after a user has accessed the same page via the negative or positive service indicator icons. Depending on which icon was last selected, Effect defaults to either Positive or Negative rather than All.



The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigation: Campus Community > Service Indicators > Person > Manage Service Indicators
  2. Search for an example emplid, AD1000
  3. Add a negative service indicator (REF) and a positive service indicator (HON)
  4. Navigation: Student Admissions > Application Maintenance > Maintain Applications
  5. Search for emplid, AD1000
  6. Open the page and select the negative service indicator icon in the header. The Manage Service Indicator page opens in a new window with Effect set to Negative as expected
  7. Close the new window, and in the first window navigate to Campus Community > Service Indicators > Person > Manage Service Indicators
  8. Search for emplid AD1000, note that Effect is set to Negative rather than All
  9. Navigation: Campus Community > Personal Information > Add/Update a Person.
  10. Search for emplid AD1000
  11. Open the page and select the Positive Service Indicator (SI) icon in the header to open Manage Service Indicators in new window with Effect set to Positive
  12. Close the new window, and in the first window navigate to Campus Community > Service Indicators > Person > Manage Service Indicators
  13. Search for emplid AD1000, note that Effect is set to Positive rather than All
  14. Sign out and sign back in
  15. Navigation: Campus Community > Service Indicators > Person > Manage Service Indicators
  16. Search for emplid AD1000 and open the Maintain Service Indicators page, note that Effect now defaults to All as expected
