Enrollment Limit Room Capacity Functionality From PUM 20 Is Not Working For Combined Sections (Doc ID 2869488.1)

PUM 23 is working differently than PUM 20 when doing an enrollment on a combined section when the enrollment is greater than the facility capacity.

A student with a permission number is permitted to enrolled in a closed combined section.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Set up a Combined Section and make sure the facility capacity is set

1. Main Menu -> Curriculum Management -> Combined Sections -> Combined Sections Ta

2. Main Menu -> Curriculum Management -> Schedule of Classes -> Maintain Schedule of Classes

3. Main Menu -> Set Up SACR -> Foundation Tables -> Facilities -> Facility Table

Thus, the Facility Capacity is 12, the combined section is already fully enrolled as between the 2 sections there are 12 students enrolled, 8 in xxx and 4 in yyy. The class status is Closed.

Enroll student in class but give permission since closed combined section:

4. Main Menu -> Records and Enrollment -> Term Processing -> Class Permissions -> Class Permissions

5. Main Menu -> Self Service -> Enrollment -> Enrollment: Add Classes

Here you see that the student was able to enroll in the class even though the facility capacity for the combined section has already been met
