SFP: R2T4 - OLDA Defaults To Start Of Term Instead Of Showing The Actual LDA. (Doc ID 2869675.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Campus Community - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Students who drop prior to the Term Start date are being assigned the Official Last Date of Attendance (OLDA) as the first day of the term instead of displaying the actual last day of attendance (LDA). This logic is erroneously triggering an R2T4 calculation which is creating additional work for the Financial aid staff who have R2T4 calculations to clean up by terminating the calculations.

  1. Home > Self Service > Student Center
  2. Under Academic, select Enroll
  3. Select Drop tab
  4. Select the term in which you would like to drop a class and click Continue.
  5. Click the boxes next to the class or classes you would like to drop, then click Drop Selected Classes.
  6. Review the information on the Confirm your selection screen.
  7. Click the Finish Dropping button to drop the classes you have selected.
  8. On the View results page, a green checkmark displays next to the classes that have been dropped.

Request to exclude the Withdrawal status, the OLDA date, and other R2T4 triggers from the SAFI record for students who have an LDA prior to the Term Start Date OR Do Not generate a SAFI record if the students' OLDA is prior to the term start Date.
