The User’s Unable to Select Grading Basis When Overriding the Grading Basis in Block Enrollment. (Doc ID 2869812.1)

Last updated on JUNE 13, 2022

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Records - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to create a Class Block within Block Enrollment. If the user wishes to Override the Grading Basis, they select the check box to do this. The Grading Basis is no longer grayed out but users are unable to select another Grading Basis (with either the Lookup icon or by typing in the Grading Basis). The same override is available in the Enrollment Request screen and works without any problems.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Main Menu > Records and Enrollment > Enroll Students  > Block Enrollment  > Create Class Block
2. Check the Override flag for Grading Basis on the Class Block and select a different Grading Basis
3. Notice the Grading Basis remains same even when the user selected a different grading basis.
