EAM: Unable to Modify the Asset Status When Recategorizing the Asset Using Mass Transaction Manager. (Doc ID 2871241.1)

Symptoms

Unable to modify the asset status when recategorizing the asset using mass transaction manager.

Steps to replicate:

  1. Update mass transaction definition for recategorization template, Add asset status field to user entered values.
     Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related >Asset Management> Mass Transaction Manager > AM Mass Transaction Definition.

  2. Review mass transaction configuration for recategorization template.
     Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Asset Management> Mass Transaction Manager > AM Mass Transaction Config.

  3. Select Asset status filed on mass transaction search criteria for recategorization template.
     Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Asset Management > Mass Transaction > Manager AM Mass Transaction Criteria.

  4. Create a new asset, with asset status as work in progress(WIP).
      Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain >  Product Related > Asset Management > Mass Transaction Manager > AM Mass Transaction Criteria

  5. Navigate to Asset Management > Asset Transactions > Mass Transactions >Run Mass Transactions.

  6. Add anew run control ID  and select recategorization template.

  7. In selection criteria provide Business unit and asset ID details.

  8. Provide new asset category and select asset status as in-service under user entered values.

  9. Run mass transaction manager.

  10. Run transaction loader process
     Menu > Asset Management > Send/Receive Information > Interface Transactions >Load into AM.

  11. Review asset category and asset status. Asset category updated new value and asset status is still Work in progress.
