Symptoms

After upgrading the Oracle database from 12c to 19c, a custom application engine program failed when running %UPDATASTATS meta-sql to collect database statstics. The following error is seen in the application engine log.

Steps to replicate:

1. Log into PIA, and navigate to PeopleTools > Process Scheduler > Schedule Process Requests (navigation on PT 8.59)

2. Enter the Run Control ID, and execute the program.

3. Open the application engine log, and observe the errors above.
