What-if Report Created After Clicking 'Load Latest Scenario' is not Populating All Rows in the Program Scenario Section That Were Entered on the Previous Report (Doc ID 2874803.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Academic Advisement - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When Creating a What-if Report in Student Center, using the"Load Latest Scenario" button/link to bring in the information from the previous version of the report created most recently, the 'Program Scenario' section only populates the first row that had been entered on the previous version of the report. If the second and third rows were populated on the previous report, the new report displays the rows with values of "None" in all fields.

The issue may only affect some careers and not all. For example, at least one school reporting the issue noted that the issue only affects the Undergraduate career, while other careers such as Graduate work correctly.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Home > Self Service > Student Center.
  2. Select What-If Report on the Academics dropdown.
  3. Add 3 programs under Program Scenario.
  4. Select Submit Request.
  5. Return to Home > Self Service > Student Center.
  6. Select What-If Report on the Academics dropdown.
  7. Select Load Latest Scenario link.
  8. Note only the first row under Program Scenario is populated with the information entered in step 3.

Changes

The issue occurs after applying maintenance from CS 9.2 PUM Image 25, after not occurring on Images 24 and earlier.
