Query Regarding Possibility Of Having Optional First / Last Name Of Employee In HCM (Doc ID 2874877.1)

Goal

Will making the Last_Name optional cause any issues with any other vanilla functionality, processes, etc (such as payroll, benefits or other processes).
If on 'Name Format Types', the customer sets 'First_Name' as optional, and the first name field is left blank (employee only goes by single name, and it is stored in Last_Name', will the Employee Personal Data sync from HCM synced to FSCM error out, or just log a warning.  Are there other potential downstream impacts in HCM.
