E-IB: Getting "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/ws/security/handler/WSHandler" Error When Posting SOAP Messages to the PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector (Doc ID 2876065.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to PeopleTools (PT) 8.59.xx, the following error is seen in the Integration Broker (IB) errorLog.html when a SOAP message is sent to the PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector.

 

ERROR

-----------------------

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/ws/security/handler/WSHandler

at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)

 

The issue can be reproduced

1. Create a PT 8.59.xx environment.

2. Send a SOAP message to the PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector.

3. Observe the error above in the IB errorlog.html.
