ECM: Cash Forecasting – Actuals Vs Forecast Bank Balance Issue (Doc ID 2877179.1)

Symptoms

Cash Forecasting – Actuals vs Forecast Bank Balance issue.

Create a Cash Forecasting report showing the Actual daily bank balances and the Forecast bank balances (+10% gain). Create the worksheets and everything looks correct. When ran using 10% all the numbers were zero. Now, the actuals come thru correctly, but the forecast is always zero.


REPLICATION STEPS

1. Create a new Position Source
  CM – Cash Forecast > Define Cash Forecast > Position Source
  -Selection Criteria
  -Click on Create SQL
  -Run Create Position Source SQL
2.Create Position Source Set
  Cash Management > Cash Forecast > Define Cash Forecast > Position Source Set
  -Create a new Forecast Rule for rule type Amount
3.Create Worksheet Definition
  Cash Management > Cash Forecast > Define Cash Forecast > Worksheet Definition
  -Worksheet Line item
  -Use Daily Time Sets
4. Run Calculate Time Spans
  Cash Management > Cash Forecast > Define Cash Forecast > Calculate Time Spans
5. Run Schedule Cash Forecast
  Cash Management > Cash Forecast > Process and Review > Schedule Cash Forecast
  -Create a new Search
  -Amt of $45000 is showing as the paid amount for 5/27/2021 but the rule id is not been applied
6.Check Data in the POS_AP_PYMNT_VW view

select value_dt, pymnt_dt,pymnt_amt, a.*
from ps_POS_AP_PYMNT_VW a
where business_unit_gl ='US001'
and pymnt_id_ref like '0050%'
