ELA: Inactive Lease Administration User Roles Are Able to Create, Activate New Leases, New Amendments and Generate/Approve Transactions (Doc ID 2878014.1)

Symptoms

Inactive Lease Administration User Roles are able to Create, Activate New Leases, New Amendments and Generate/Approve Transactions

 

The issue can be replicated at will using the following steps:

1. Log in as User "VP1":
2. Change the "VP1" User Status to Inactive:
Navigation: Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Lease Administration > User Roles > Lease Administration Roles
3. User "VP1" is able to Create and Activate a new Lease regardless of the Status (Inactive or Active):
Navigation: Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Create New Payables Lease
4. Go back to the User Roles > Lease Administration Roles and Inactivate User "DVP1":
5. Log In as "DVP1":
6. The user is able to Create new Amendments regardless of the Status (Inactive or Active):
Navigation: Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Maintain Payables Lease
7. Log in as "VP1":
8. The user "VP1" is able to Activate the Amendment regardless of the Status (Inactive or Active):
also, The user is able to Activate Amendments if the Activate Lease/Amendment checkbox is unchecked and the status is either Active or Inactive.
Navigation: Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Maintain Payables Lease
9. Log in as "DVP1":
10. The User is also able to Generate and Approve Transactions regardless of the Status (Inactive or Active):
Navigation: Lease Administration > Integrations > Manage Transaction Generator
Navigation: Lease Administration > Payables Leases > Process Payable Lease Pymts
