E-ES: Do We Have To Follow The Procedure Listed In Doc ID 2854115.1 (On Cluster Setup), Every Time We Want To Start These Servers? (Doc ID 2878057.1)

Last updated on JUNE 24, 2022

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.59 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

-After setting up an Elasticsearch cluster on ELK 7.10.0_06 to support PeopleSoft 9.2 environments, a question about starting the nodes once they are up and running successfully (ALL three nodes are successfully seen registered on Elasticsearch Interact page)

Do we have to follow the procedure listed in Doc ID 2854115.1 EVERY TIME we start these servers? (for example, after monthly operating system updates when all of the servers in our shop get rebooted several times in any order) Or is this procedure needed only once and then the ES cluster members REMEMBER their cluster?
