EPY: Kibana Search Definition HC_HPY_CAT_US Takes a Long Time to Complete, and Fails When Security Indexes Begin to Run (Doc ID 2879200.1)

Symptoms

When running the Kibana Full Index Build for 10 years, the index build for HC_HPY_CAT_US does not complete after multiple days of running.
This fails once Security Views begin to run.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Assumption: the prerequisites of installing and setting up PeopleTools, Elasticsearch, and Kibana are completed.

1. Deploy Kibana Dashboard for Payroll for North America U.S. Payroll Cost Tile (PeopleTools > Search Framework > Search Admin Activity Guide > Administration > Deploy/Delete Object)
  [Analyst Note: Be sure this step occurs, but thinking the error would be faster if it did not]
   Deploy these payroll indexes:
• (USA) HC_HPY_CAT_US (Payroll Categories - US)
• HC_HPY_MGMT_CHK_US (Payroll Management Checks - US)
2. Build Kibana Search Indexes for Payroll for North America U.S. Payroll Cost Tile (PeopleTools > Search Framework > Search Admin Activity Guide > Administration > Schedule Search Index)
Build these payroll search indexes:
• (USA) HC_HPY_CAT_US
• HC_HPY_MGMT_CHK_US
When building the indexes, use 1/1/2012 for HC_HPY_CAT_US

- After Multiple Days, the HC_HPY_CAT_US does not complete.
