GPESP: ERE Activity Periods Calculation Error when ERE Absence Starts Mid of Month (Doc ID 2883916.1)

Last updated on JULY 22, 2022

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Spain - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

There is a calculation error that occurs when processing the ERE activity periods of an employee that begins on a day after the 1st of the month.
After running process ERE Activity Data ESP, it seems that when setting the end date of the month, it starts counting from the ERE start day, the total count of days in the month, which is 30 = 10/16/2021.
However, the end date should be 09/30/2021.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Create a suspension-type ERE, with an initial date other than the 1st of the month.
Workforce Administration > ERE Procedure ESP > ERE Data ESP Start date September 17th, 2021

2. Add the employees who enter ERE on September 17th, 2021.
Workforce Administration > ERE Procedure ESP > ERE Employee Data ESP

3. Run the process to calculate your activity periods.
Workforce Administration > ERE Procedure ESP > Process ERE Activity Data ESP, the process is run for September

4. Check that all employees have been set as the activity interval, for the September period, from 09/17/2021 to 10/16/2021.
Workforce Administration > ERE Procedure ESP > ERE Activity Periods ESP
