ETL92: Fluid Timesheet - Entire Timesheet Grayed Out For Employee Inactivated During The Pay Period (Doc ID 2886389.1)

Last updated on JULY 17, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Time and Labor - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When punch or elapsed time reporter is inactivated in middle of the biweekly period, the date picker does not allow the manager to select an active day within the period for time entry. The only way for the active days in the period to open for entry is for the user to use the arrow to move to the previous or next period then back to the current period.

Steps to Recreate:
1. Select a punch or elapsed time reporter enrolled in a workgroup that uses a biweekly time period.
2. Insert a new row on Time Reporter Data to inactivate the employee in the middle of the biweekly period.
3. Login as Employee’s Manager – Navigate to My Preferences > Time and Labor then set Default Timesheet Display to Time Reporting Period.
4. Manager navigates back to Home then to the Team Time – uses filter to select employee.
5. Then clicks Done and drills down to the employee’s timesheet. Note: All days in the Biweekly Time Period are grayed.
6. Manager uses the date picker to select one day prior to Employee inactivation date. The expectation is this day is active and therefore, should be open for time Entry. However, that is not the case. Note: Using the date picker to select a specific date still shows entire period still grayed:
7. If Manager uses the arrow to go to previous or next period, then back to current period the days active before Time Reporter inactivation opens as expected.
