Last updated on APRIL 15, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Payroll for North America - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an Administrator updates one of the current direct deposit rows for an employee who has more than one Direct Deposit account, all of the accounts have the date updated, even if they were not changed.
This appears to deliver multiple emails (as many as the direct deposit accounts) to the Administrator and to the Employee.

Only one email should be sent to the Administrator and one email should be sent to the Employee.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enter a new effective dated row for Direct Deposit as an Administrator (Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing USA > Create Direct Deposits >
2. Get out and back in to review History
3. All rows (except possibly the immediate prior row) for Direct Deposit have been updated with Online User and the current date.
  - This is triggers multiple emails to be sent to the administrator and the employee affected
