Poor Performance with Communication Summary Search Button - Process Never Completes and no Results Returned (Doc ID 2890393.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to use the Search button on Communication Summary, to view student's Communication data, the process runs but performance is very poor, such that the process never completes and no results are returned. 

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Campus Community > Communications > Person Communications > Communication Summary, for any emplid. 
  2. Populate parameters and click Search button.
  3. Observe that the page just "hangs" and the results are never returned.
