Symptoms

When attempting to deploy mid-tier using the command "./psft-dpk-setup.sh --env_type midtier --deploy_only" as a root user on HP-UX 11.31

the following error occurs.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Download and Deploy PeopleTools 8.58.19
  2. Create a psft_customizations.yaml with the jdk location.
  3. Run the mid-tier deployment with psft_customizations.yaml file
  4. Experience the error.
