Symptoms

Upon clicking the save button in the Employee Self Service change of Home Mailing Address the following error is displayed:

An email with incorrect bind variables is received by administrator. Some field names like Employee Record, Effective Sequence and Action do not match with the content information displayed in the email.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1.  Go to Set Up HCM > Common Definitions > Self Service > Workflow Configurations and set Approval=OFF, Allow DB Update= ON for "Address Change" transaction name
2.  Click Save
3.  Go to Main Menu > Self Service > Personal Information > Home and Mailing Address and click on Edit Icon for the Home Address
4.  Modify the address and save
