Remote Worker Approval Shows Wrong Employee Record Information When Employee Has Inactive EMPL_RCD = 0, Active EMPL_RCD = 1 (Doc ID 2893907.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2022

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When an employee with inactive EMPL_RCD = 0, active EMPL_RCD = 1 submits a Remote Worker request, the transaction is capturing the job data for EMPL_RCD = 0.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Employee has two EMPL_RCD numbers. For example:
EMPL_RCD = 0 was terminated on 2/1/2022.
EMPL_RCD = 1 was hired on 3/15/2022, and is currently active.

1. Employee logs in and submits a Remote Worker Request from navigation: ESS fluid homepage > Remote Worker Tile
2. Manager logs in and goes to Fluid Approvals tile to check the request. The request is showing data for EMPL_RCD = 0 instead of the active job.
