Goal

How to install a DPK PeopleTools (PT) PS_HOME into a Non-Decoupled PS_HOME and PS_APP_HOME directory. Customers still using the old method of having the PeopleTools and Application home directories installed into the same folder may attempt the suggested workaround provided below.

When attempting to install directly on top of an existing directory (overlay) multiple issues have been reported. A few examples experienced have been the installation immediately fails, not all of the files will copy successfully, the timestamps will not be accurate, the executable(s) .exe files were not installed, etc.
