(Doc ID 2896723.1)
Last updated on APRIL 11, 2024
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.59 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When deploying Search Definitions to the Elasticsearch Server, the Integration Gateway is registering the transaction as an error, even though it is successful.
The entry in the error log has an http status code of 201, which is success, and the response from the external system is also success.
The following is observed in the errorLog.html file (<PS_CFG_HOME>\webserv\<DOMAIN>\applications\peoplesoft\PSIGW.war\WEB-INF\errorLog.html):
To reproduce the issue:
1- Login and navigate to PeopleTools > Integration Broker > Configuration > Integration Gateways.
2- Open the Gateway.
3- Click on the 'Gateway Setup Properties' link.
4- Enter credentials and click OK.
5- Click on the 'Advanced Properties Page' link.
6- In the Gateway Properties, locate ig.log.level and set it to 5 (ig.log.level=5).
7- Click ok.
8- Back in the PeopleSoft Node Configuration dialog, click OK.
9- Save.
10- Navigate to PeopleTools > Search Framework > Administration > Deploy Search Objects.
11- UnDeploy and Re-Deploy any Search Objects - suggestion: test with Search Category Name PTPORTALREGISTRY.
12- Check the errorLog.html file that is generated from that action, in <PS_CFG_HOME>\webserv\<DOMAIN>\applications\peoplesoft\PSIGW.war\WEB-INF\
Recommended: reset ig.log.level=2, in the Integration Gateway, after the test is complete.
