Does the Paysheet Preaudit or the Payroll Calculation Compare an Employee's Health Savings Account Pledge to the Minimum/Maximum Contributions Allowed on the FSA Plan Table? (Doc ID 2897230.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 10, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Benefits Administration - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

An employee changed from family medical to single medical coverage during the year. At the time the employee made the change, he/she had already contributed to a Health Savings Account (HSA) more than the amount allowed for single coverage for the entire year, but, when the allowed amount for the year is calculated using proration based on the coverage in effect over the course of the year, it still allows additional contributions allowed. Benefits Administration will not allow the entry of the new revised amount as it exceeds the amount allowed for single coverage, but it can be entered in correction mode directly on the Base Benefits Spending Accounts page.

Will this be included on the Presheet Audit report for payroll as an error?
