EPY: State of Georgia Sends Error “There Is an Error With Your File.” When Attempting to Import TAX960GA File to State of Georgia W-2 Official Site (Doc ID 2897723.1)

After running TAX960GA W2 reporting file, the Georgia official W-2 reporting site denies the upload.

The Georgia W-2 Reporting Site sends this error to the Customer:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Payroll for North America > U.S. Annual Processing > W-2 Reporting > Create State W-2 File

2. Enter the Run Control ID and click Search

3. Choose Reporting Medium 'Electronic' and State 'GA' for Georgia
- As mentioned in the currently delivered year end document,

"Users should review each state’s electronic reporting requirements to determine
whether or not the “Bulk Filing Method” checkbox should be selected when running
TAX960ST.SQR to create files for electronic submission to particular states."

4. Click Run

5. Go to the file location for the server that this is run on to collect the file TAX960GA
- This is set in setenv.sqc and depends on the operating system being used
