Symptoms
After migrating to PeopleTools (PT) 8.58.20 from PT 8.58.19 or earlier, Excel uploads going through xmllink fail.
The Excel Billing Interface upload returns Error 1 below, while performing the Excel Journal Import through
xmllink (e.g. using JRNL1.xls/.xlsm spreadsheet) returns the second error (Error 2) below.
Also, performing the xmllink "browser test" (http(s)://<PIA_web_server>:<port>/xmllink/<ps_site_name>/) returns the third error below.
Errors
Steps to reproduce:
1. Apply the PT 8.58.20 (or PT 8.59.11+ if on PT 8.59) or a later patch.
2. Open the Excel upload spreadsheet being used.
3. Enter the connection information, add test data, and upload.
3. Observe one of the sets of errors shown above.
Changes
Applied the PT 8.58.20 patch.
Or, in the case of PT 8.59 environments, the PT 8.59.11 or a later patch was applied.
