Symptoms
FIN AM ARG 9.1 - Inflation adjustment calculation not as expected (PER rows contains negative values) when changing the asset useful life.
Steps to replicate:
1. Add a new asset. (Asset Management > Asset Transactions > Owned Assets > Basic Add)
2. Run Depreciation Calculation. (Asset Management > Depreciation > Processing > Calculate Depreciation)
3. Run Create Accounting Entries. (Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Create Accounting Entries)
4. Run Depreciation Close. (Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Close Depreciation)
5. Run AM Inflation. (Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Calculate Inflation)
6. Perform a book change for main book, say change. Change useful life from 60 to 120 (Asset Management > Asset Transactions > Financial Transactions > Cost Adjust/Transfer Asset)
7. Run Depreciation Calculation. (Asset Management > Depreciation > Processing > Calculate Depreciation)
8. Run Create Accounting Entries. (Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Create Accounting Entries)
9. Run Depreciation Close. (Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Close Depreciation)
10. Run AM Inflation. (Asset Management > Accounting Entries > Calculate Inflation)
11. Review Inflation History for Recategorization. (Asset Management > Asset Transactions > History > Review Inflation)
