Proxy Error when clicking on Payment History in External Supplier Portal

When a Supplier has a lot of rows in the Payment History (>50k), the page keeps on loading when the Payment History link is clicked and then it times out and shows Proxy Error. Even when there is a huge number of rows (<50k), it takes a long time to load them.

1. Login to supplier portal
2. At the Supplier Portal Homepage, click on Payment History link.
3. System logs out of apps.

"An Error has occurred."
System logs out of peoplesoft.
