E-SEC: Error “XML is invalid” When Adding a CA Certificate in the Digital Certificate Page (Doc ID 2900586.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.


The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Log into the affected PeopleTools Environment;
2. Navigate to PeopleTools >  Security > Security Objects > Digital Certificate;
3. Add a new row, select "Root CA" as cert type and provide Alias name;
4. Observe the error message "XML is invalid" after clicking on the magnifying glass search button.
