E-DPK: PeopleTools Installation Fails with ImportError: No module named enum (Doc ID 2901041.1)

Symptoms

When running the PeopleTools (PT) deployment script, the following error occurs on the command line:
 


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Download the PT DPK (Deployment Packages) files from My Oracle Support.
2. Extract the files.
3. Run the deployment script - psft-dpk-setup.sh.
