UCAS Import Sets Subject ID To Blank Instead of Zero After Applying the Fix for Bug 33918803 - UCAS - SUPPORT FOR XML LINK INTERFACE - PHASE 3 (Doc ID 2904532.1)

Symptoms

The UCAS Import sets the Subject ID field to blank instead of zero when processing Qualifications records.  A blank Subject ID field then causes issues with subsequent processing in the ivFormQuals for odbc-link and ApplicantQualification for xml-link.  The import of exam results where subject ID has a value and qualification ID is zero is not impacted.

 The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

NOTE: Before importing the data, set up the search/match parameters on the Search/Match Processing pages.
  1. Navigate to Student Admissions > UCAS Processing > Import Applicants > Import Applicant Data
  2. Select/add run control ID on search page
  3. Enter Institution value
  4. Enable checkboxes parameters as desired
  5. Select Run pushbutton
  6. Process errors.

 

Changes

This issue occurs after applying the fix for Bug 33918803 - UCAS - SUPPORT FOR XML LINK INTERFACE - PHASE 3.  A new translate value for field SAD_UC_VIEW was delivered in this fix.
