Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Financials - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Using the hosted payment framework, a student attempts to make a credit card payment via their self service account. Within Campus Solutions, the 'Continue to Make a Payment' button is displayed. Clicking on the button results in an error. Clicking on the 'Continue to Make a Payment' should transfer the student to the ePayment provider site to enter credit card information. In one instance, this issue occurred on the Test Campus Solutions 9.2, PeopleTools 8.57.08 environment. The same error does not occur on the production environment. The error occurs using Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers. Firefox browser works successfully. The workaround outlined in knowledge article 'E-PIA: Chrome Blocks Cookie Without SameSite Attribute Note 2653011.1' have been implemented on the Campus Solutions test environment.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Sign in as a student;
- Proceed to make a credit card payment via self service;
- Click the Continue to Make A Payment button;
- The error message is displayed.
