Symptoms
Attempting to run the Event Notification Reminder process on MS SQL Server, but the process abends with the error Process x ABENDED at Step EOEN_ALERT.RunQuery.Step02 (PeopleCode) -- RC = 8
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Schedule Process Requests (PeopleTools-->Process Scheduler-->Schedule Process Requests)
2. Click on Add new Value tab to add a new run control
3. Enter a value for your run control and click Add
4. Click on Run button
5. Select AUC_ERN process
6. Click Ok
7. Click on Process Monitor link
8. Process has abended
