Symptoms

Running the deployment script to install the mid-tier components fails.

The psft_dpk_setup.log contains the following error messages:


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Download the required PeopleTools patch files from My Oracle Support.
2. Extract the first zip file.
3. Navigate to the DPK setup folder and run the below command:
    psft-dpk-setup.sh --env_type midtier --deploy_only
