Symptoms
On the Correct ISIR records component for 2023-2024 or any Aid Year, the EFC\DB Matches\Corr Tab displays the Total Student Contribution (TSC) field as 0 in some cases, when it's expected to show a non-zero amount that is the sum of the student's contribution from Income (SIC) and contribution from assets (SCA), either or both of which display as > 0 on the page.
The calculated total Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) shown on the page is correct, and accounting for the TSC even though it's not displaying on the page.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Navigate to Financial Aid > Federal Application Data > Correct 20nn-20nn ISIR records for the aid year.
- On the search page, enter the emplid for a dependent student known to have a student contribution. If necessary, the query listed in the next section can help identify a student with an SIC and/or SCA that is > 0.
- Click 'search' to bring up the record, go to the EFC\DB Matches\Corr tab, and note that while the SIC and/or SCA display as > 0, TSC shows 0.
