Symptoms

HCM and FSCM ChatBot is being launched from a window inside of the ChatBot window. The behavior is seen in Chrome, Firefox and Edge browsers, and occurs for modules including Benefits Assistant and Payroll Assistant.

The issue began after upgrading from PeopleTools (PT) 8.58.08 with ODA Version 9.2.038.01 Platform 21.02 to PT 8.59.04 and ODA Version 9.2.039.01 Platform 21.10.

OS : Windows 10
HCM 9.2 PUM43, FSCM 9.2 PUM44

Sample Replication:

1. Launch Payroll Assistant or Benefits Assistant on the application page.

2. Observe that ChatBot is being launched from another window inside of the existing window.

 

Changes

Upgraded to PeopleTools 8.59.04 and ODA Version 9.2.039.01 Platform 21.10
