Symptoms

Non SFP (Student Financial Planning) customers experience a new warning message when running Posting processes for a student after applying the fix for Bug 34645758 SFP: ADD LOGIC TO ENSURE POSTING CREATES A 1:1 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SFP <PAYMENTID> AND SF PAYMENT_ID_NBR.

Posting processes include Charge Reversal, Payment Reversal, Student Post, Write Off processing, and Tuition Calculation.

For all posting processes, the transaction completes successfully.  Prior to applying the fix, the warning message did not occur.

Performing a Charge Reversal displays the following pop up message.  Charge Reversal is the only process experiencing this pop up message.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Student Financials, Charges and Payments, Reversals, Reverse Charge;
  2. Enter the Emplid;
  3. Click on the Account Details hyperlink for the term/account type the charge to be reversed is in;
  4. Click the Reverse button;
  5. The pop up message box displays 'Data was posted but a warning was detected from the Posting Program Call. (14816.800)'.

Changes

The fix for Bug 34645758  - SFP: ADD LOGIC TO ENSURE POSTING CREATES A 1:1 RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SFP AND SF PAYMENT_ID_NBR has been applied to the environment.
