Symptoms
After Image 44, Commitment Control Budget Definitions Validation process cannot be run.
The Validation Required link does not appear and that there is no way to validate a new project range in Control Chartfield tab when the Line Status is Not Validated.
Steps to replicate:
1. Access Budget Definition – Control Chartfield tab. (Navigation: Commitment Control > Define Control Budgets > Budget Definitions)
2. Click ‘+’ sign to add a new effective date.
3. Click ‘+’ sign in Chartfield Values grid to add a row, then, click Save button.
4. Click OK button on the warning message --- 'Warning – Changes to the budget definition will not update previously posted transactions. (18021,892)'
Notice that the Definition Status = 'Valid'
5. Check the Chartfield Values – Status section, for the added row, Line Status = 'Not Validated'.
