E-COMP: Process Definition's "Mutually Exclusive Process(es)" Ignored During Compare Report and Project Copy (Doc ID 2912927.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 11, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.59 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In the Compare Reports for the 'Process Definition' Objects, The "Mutually Exclusive Process(es)" section Values are not getting included.

The issue can be replicated with the below steps:
1. Consider two Process Definitions, A and B, in the source environment.
2. In the source environment, open Process Definition "A" and set "B" as its "Mutually Exclusive Process" (Navigation: People Tools --> Process Scheduler --> Process Scheduler Processes).
3. Run the Compare Report. It will incorrectly show that there are no differences.
4. Copy the project to the target environment.
5. Inspect the Process Definitions on the target environment through PIA. They will not have any "Mutually Exclusive Process(es)" copied.
