Symptoms

Supplier Registration Page has Fields that are Required but Do Not have the Asterisk (*) indicating that the Field is Required


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Supplier Request System Setup  (Setup Financials/Supply Chain-->Product Related-->Procurement Options-->Suppliers-->Supplier Request System Setup).
2. Register New Suppliers has the Template ID of SUPPLIER assigned.
3. Navigate to Supplier Request Templates. (Setup Financials/Supply Chain-->Product Related-->Procurement Options-->Suppliers-->Supplier Request Templates).
4. Search by enter Supplier and click Search.
5. Select the Supplier templates from our search results.
6. Click on the Attributes tab.
7. The SIC Code Type, ID Numbers, Attachments, and VAT Registration are setup as required fields.
8. Navigate to Define User Preferences (Setup Financials/Supply Chain-->Common Definitions-->User Preferences-->Define User Preferences).
9. Enter User ID and click Search.
10. Select the User from the search results.
11. Click on the Procurement link.
12. Click on the Supplier Onboarding link.
13. Options field is set to Default from Higher Level. Also have template assigned for Supplier.
14. Navigate to Register Suppliers (Suppliers-->Supplier Registration-->Register Suppliers).
15. Click Next.
16. Note that neither Standard Industry Codes or Add Attachment has an asterisk (*) next to it indicating that it’s a required field.
