EEX 9.2: Fluid Travel Authorization Search for Pending Authorizations Is Missing Several Columns, As Well as Authorization ID Value (Doc ID 2913993.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 11, 2022

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Expenses - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

It has been detected that the Fluid Travel Authorization Search page (EX_TAUTH_SRCH_FL) is not displaying the Travel Authorization ID value for the existing transactions as per expected when using Small or Medium Form Format (Smartphone, or Tablet).

REPLICATION STEPS:

1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as an Expenses User in a smartphone or tablet (Small or Medium Format)
2.- Go to the Employee Self Service Fluid Homepage
3.- Click on the Travel Authorizations Tile
4.- Click on the Add Travel Authorization button
5.- At the Travel Authorization main page, proceed to fill in all Header fields (Description, Business Purpose, Comments, Billing Type, Travel From/To, Date From/To)
6.- At this stage, proceed to enter all needed fields on a Travel Authorization Line row (Use Accounting and Details buttons to fill in the needed information)
    7.- Save the Travel Authorization
8.- Confirm that at the top left hand corner of the screen, the new Travel Authorization ID value is displayed next to the Report field, and that a status of Pending is shown
9.- Click on the 'Travel Authorization' back button at the top left hand side of the screen
10.- Click on the 'Travel Authorization Search' back button at the top left hand side of the screen
11.- Back at the Travel Authorization page under Fluid User Interface, confirm that the Pending filter is selected, and that the transaction is listed
12.- Confirms that the row is not displaying the Authorization ID value

The Employees get confused, as not all expected Travel Authorization information is readily available on display, and need to perform unnecessary clicks to re-open the transaction to review the details.

It would be expected that when accessing the Travel Authorization Search fluid page, the Pending Filter would display all needed Columns, and respective information values without exceptions.

NOTE: In the images/screenshots/examples mentioned and/or the attached document, user details / company name / address / email / telephone number represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the Oracle Demo Vision instance).  Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.
