E-CLOUD: Previous Updates Are Showing In Manage Updates Page After Upgrading to Cloud Manager 14 (Doc ID 2915148.1)

Symptoms

The Cloud Manager (CM) instance has been upgraded from CM 13 to 14. At that time, there were no updates showing in the Manage Updates page.

However, after one day, it is now showing 5 new updates which are the same ones already applied.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Perform an upgrade from CM 13 to 14.
2. Check the Manage Updates page immediately after the upgrade and notice that all updates have been applied.
3. Revisit the Manage Updates page the next day (or after the ECL_REPODM runs) and find out that the same updates previously applied are now showing as pending updates.
