Goal

Is it possible using Delivered Fluid Class Search Configurations to set certain filters to be set to available or not available by default, based on a particular attribute of the student, such as the current active academic plan?

A specific scenario was presented in one reported case, as follows. Some ad hoc search filter options were set up using the delivered functionality under PeopleTools > Search Framework > Designer. One of the options was the type of academic session - dynamic dated vs a regular session. Based on a student's academic plan, they are only able to register in one type of session or the other. The institution desires to only allow the filtering on the option that matches with the student's academic plan. The academic plans that match up with dynamic dated session classes are indicated by a certain specific plan description(s).
