E-PIA: Excel Attachments Not Opening In Edge Browser On Internet Sites (Doc ID 2917032.1)

Symptoms

 In MS Edge browser (Version 107.0.1418.62), Excel and other MS Office file extensions, when attached into the same production database, can be viewed  with no issues over Intranet sites but not over Internet exposed PeopleSoft sites.

No such issues in similar version of Chrome browser nor with rest of other supported attachment types:  e.g. PDF works always fine when viewed in both browsers and regardless client location/ client zone 

Changes

 PeopleSoft Windows client users were migrated from IE 11 to the a default Microsoft browser  >  Edge (more precisely the Chromium version of Edge)
