E-PORTAL: HTML Data Type Not Displaying in Pagelet Wizard (Doc ID 2917219.1)

Symptoms

The HTML data type is not showing as an available selection in the Pagelet Wizard data type drop down. 

HTML was a valid data type in the pagelet wizard before upgrading to PT8.59. Any existing HTML data type pagelets that were developed prior to PT8.59 are rendering, but the HTML data type shows as 'invalid type' in the data type drop down.

Steps to replicate:
1. Navigate to Peopletools > Portal > Pagelet wizard > Pagelet wizard
2. On Step 2, the users are unable to select 'HTML' from Data type drop down.

 

Changes

 The change was noticed after upgrading to PeopleTools 8.59.
